As I mentioned in my previous post, the July 4th (and Nana's birthday--July 5) celebration has become the trigger for the great Pica migration. Uncle Joe and Aunt Beka drove up from Florida. Uncle John, Arianna, Papa, and Nana drove down from New York. Uncle Jason and Aunt Coco drove down from Maine. And Aunt Jennae flew in from New York. It was a VERY full house! We had a lot of fun catching up, soaking up the sun at the beach and pool, and of course, partying on the Fourth. Our annual bocce ball tournament was once again enjoyed by all, as was delicious food and a rather lovely flag cake. Dominic was thrilled to have so much family around, and he especially loved playing with Cousin Arianna. She was there for his first dip, of many, in the pool! We hope this get-together remains a family tradition for years to come.
