Memorial Day Weekend in St. Augustine

We spent the holiday weekend in St. Augustine, FL, with our friends Eric, Jessica, Audrey, and Evelyn.  It was soooo much fun to hang out with them, especially since we hadn't seen them in a very long time.  On Saturday, we ventured out to the Blue Crab Festival, but the heat was so stifling, we didn't last long there.  So, we piled back in the car, stopped at a fresh produce stand, then headed back to our rented condo and spent some time on the beach.  On Sunday, we headed into St. Augustine and strolled through the town, then had lunch, then did some more walking.   It is a great city with a lot of history.  The kids were so well behaved and tolerant of our leisurely exploration of a city none of us had been to before.  We had to head back on Monday so we could get back to work on Tuesday, but the mini-vacation was wonderful.  Dominic misses his ladies already and we can't wait to see them, and their parents :) again soon!!!!
