Exploring the Native Flora and Fauna

On Saturday, we took Grandma Judy to Brookgreen Gardens--the botanical gardens just down the road--and toured the grounds, where we saw beautiful plants, trees, & flowers; gorgeous sculptures; and tranquil ponds. We then walked through the zoo that is also there, where we saw birds, foxes, and otters, among other animals. It was, of course, a very hot day, so we didn't spend all day there, although we could have. We had a delicious late lunch at Salt Creek Cafe, where Dominic, as always, was very well behaved (despite needing a nap)!
