Dominic, as always, has been a busy guy exploring anything and everything. His world has gotten a little more interesting over the past two weeks, though . . . because he is now walking!!! He was hesitant at first, since his speed-crawling was getting him everywhere he needed to be, but with some extra motivation from his visiting grandparents, he has now decided that walking is much more fun than crawling. It has been so amazing to watch him get better and better at this skill each day. Along with walking, he’s also started identifying body parts (bellies, heads, toes . . .). One of his new favorite things to do is to tickle Mommy and Daddy. And the bigger the laugh he gets from his tickle victims, the happier he is. We are enjoying this new phase immensely! I can’t emphasize enough how thankful we are that he has gotten to spend so much time with his extended family this year, despite living in South Carolina. I’ve posted a few photos here, and plan to post some video soon, so stay tuned.
