Dominic and I just returned from a fun-filled trip to Wisconsin where he met many of his family members on his mommy's side. We flew there, so it was his first trip via airplane. He did GREAT on the plane. Only fussing a little on the descent into Milwaukee and barely making a peep on the trip back to New Jersey. I was a little nervous to do the trip, just him and I, without Daddy, but it went so well that I'm ready to do it again in July. Although we're going to bring Daddy with this time. We spent a lot of time in the car while in the Midwest, driving from place to place to meet great-aunts, great-uncles, great-grandparents, and a few of Mommy's friends. Dominic took it all in stride. He is quite the little traveler. A new favorite pastime debuted while we were there . . . clapping!! While listening to some music, Dominic was inspired to put his hands together! It was so much fun to watch him reach this milestone surrounded by family. Now he starts clapping as soon as he wakes up and continues to do so throughout the day. And he's started waving, too, which is supercute, as well as rubbing his fingers together in a "gimme-some-money"-type gesture. Hands are one of the coolest things in Dominic's life right now!

I'm going to miss Dominic pounding on his drum, clapping his hands at every little and big thing that happens, and especially when him waving at me (and let's face it, I got the most waves from him :)
He's growing so quickly!
there's going to be a clap off come memorial day... xoxoxo can't wait!
