I have so many great pictures of Dominic that I want to share, but unfortunately the camera cord is nowhere to be found. Ah, the joys of moving. So, you'll just have to settle for text until I find it! The past few weeks have been adventure-filled for our little man. His first Christmas was absolutely wonderful. We were fortunate enough to have BOTH sets of grandparents there for the special occasion, which made it perfect. He received some great toys and money for his college fund. Spending time with family and friends was the best part -- although he couldn't taste it directly, he had his first Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve. And, of course, Dominic handled the crazy schedule with a great sense of humor -- he always had a smile ready and had no problem being passed from person to person. After Christmas, we spent a few more days with Grandma Judy and Grandpa Nick, as well as Uncle Dan and Aunt Raisa, then we loaded some of our belongings, Dominic, Athena, James, and me into the car and drove down to our new home -- Murrells Inlet, South Carolina!! Dominic did a great job during the drive and we made excellent time. Nana and Papa were here with us for a week, and we spent New Year's Eve with the Bendjouyas, Miranda & Richie, and the Grays. It was an AWESOME night, especially when, slightly before midnight (during a very special dance party), Miranda & Richie got ENGAGED!!! It was an amazing thing to be part of and we wish them all the best. New Year's Eve was also Dominic's first dinner in a restaurant. He loved being a part of our celebration and never shed a tear! A couple days later, he accompanied Andy, Miranda, and Mommy to Miyabi for sushi and was a perfect gentleman! The past few weeks have also been filled with milestones for Dominic. He is laughing all the time, and his squeals and "screams" have kept Mommy and Daddy very entertained. He loves to "talk" a lot in the early morning. He's pulling toys toward him and putting them in his mouth at every opportunity, and, much to my surprise, he held his bottle all by himself for a few minutes last week! On the drive down to SC, he was playing with Sophie the Giraffe and I was looking out the window when suddenly Sophie landed in my lap. He had thrown her to me! I just love my little guy to pieces and can't wait to see what 2010 brings for our new little family. Look for pictures to be uploaded just as soon as that cord turns up!
